Dr. Lisa Mund

About me

My name is Lisa Mund, and I’m happy to bee part of the Vetradiologie team since 2022.

During my veterinary studies, radiology fascinated me the most during my clinical rotations. I was amazed by how much information can actually be gleaned from these “grey and white images” – and by how much there is still to learn.

After graduating in veterinary medicine from Justus Liebig University Giessen, I completed a rotating internship at Tierklinik Stommeln. I then returned to Giessen to join the Department of Radiology within the Small Animal Surgery Department at Justus Liebig University. There, I completed my doctoral thesis on “Kinematics of the craniocervical junction in Chihuahuas compared with Labrador Retrievers.”

I also completed my specialist training in veterinary diagnostic imaging as well as a residency in Diagnostic Imaging.

Today, I am a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI) and a European Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging. Since 2023, I have been working as a senior veterinarian in the Radiology Department at Tierklinik Hofheim.

I particularly enjoy teaching and supporting my colleagues and regularly give seminars and continuing education courses.

On a personal note

In my free time, I enjoy being out in nature and spending time with my horse. I live in Central Hessen with my husband, our young daughter and son.
