Hello!
I’m Imaine Glahn, and I joined the Vetradiologie team as a Social Media Manager in July 2025.

I’m Imaine Glahn, and I joined the Vetradiologie team as a Social Media Manager in July 2025.
Since graduating from the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna in 2024, I have been working as a veterinary assistant in training to become a specialist in small animal medicine in Hamburg. At the same time, I am pursuing my PhD at the Diagnostic Imaging Research Unit (DIRU) of the Vetsuisse Faculty at the University of Zurich.
What fascinates me most about radiology is the ability to gain insights into structures that would otherwise remain hidden. It is a central diagnostic tool that helps to contextualize clinical questions and support well-founded decision-making. With its wide range of applications, radiology is also an especially exciting field of research in veterinary medicine.
At Vetradiologie, I support our team in the areas of social media and digital communication. Through our channels and on our website, we present intriguing radiology cases, interactive case studies, and further content on radiological education, reporting, and differential diagnostics. My goal is to communicate expert knowledge in a clear, visually engaging, and sustainable way.

In my free time, I enjoy staying active—whether on my road bike, in my running shoes, or at the pool, as I am currently preparing for my first long-distance triathlon.
Whenever time allows, my partner, our two tomcats, and I head to the Baltic Sea to enjoy the fresh sea breeze. And of course, a fresh matjes sandwich is always a must.
