Dr. Joy Einwaller
Hello!
My name is Joy Einwaller, and I’m happy to have been part of the Vetradiologie team since 2024.

My name is Joy Einwaller, and I’m happy to have been part of the Vetradiologie team since 2024.
My path into veterinary medicine began with my studies at the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna, which I completed with a PhD in the field of wildlife anesthesia. I then moved to the UK, where I completed a rotating internship at Dick White Referrals in Cambridge. During this time, I discovered my passion for diagnostic imaging — a discipline that plays a unique role within a clinic by connecting different specialties, fostering collaboration, and contributing significantly to well-informed therapeutic decisions.
This was followed by a specialized internship in diagnostic imaging at Tierklinik Hofheim, where I have been completing my residency in diagnostic imaging from 2023 to 2025. In February 2026 I have passed the exam and are now Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI).
I am passionate about supporting fellow veterinarians through precise radiological diagnostics and thereby making a direct contribution to the best possible care for animal patients.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my dog, Feta. I especially love being in windy places, where I can pursue my favorite hobby, windsurfing. The sea, movement, and being close to nature give me balance and renewed energy.
